How to Report UPI Fraud

If you suspect you've been a victim of UPI fraud, quick action is crucial. Follow these steps to report and potentially recover your money.

Immediate Steps to Take

1. Contact Your Bank

  • Call your bank's customer service immediately
  • Report the fraudulent transaction with all details
  • Request a transaction block or reversal
  • Note down the complaint reference number

2. Report in UPI App

  • Open your UPI app
  • Navigate to the transaction history
  • Find the suspicious transaction
  • Use the "Report Fraud" or similar option
  • Follow the in-app instructions

3. File a Cyber Crime Complaint

  • Select "Report Financial Fraud"
  • Provide all transaction details
  • Upload supporting documents
